Local business associations collected 5,359 pounds of food for the Quesnel Salvation Army to feed less-fortunate friends and neighbours during the holiday season. West Business Improvement Association (WBIA) rep Laurey-Anne Roodenburg, left, posed with Gilbert Schotel and Mitch Vik of the Quesnel Downtown Association (QDA), Elaine Osen of the Salvation Army, and holding the trophy is Janelle Anton of the South Business Improvement Association (SBIA). The SBIA collected 2,428 pounds, followed by the WBIA at 2,292 pounds and the QDA at 669 pounds.
