New Beginnings Preschool partnered with the Nature Education Resource Centre in January to raise Chinook Salmon. They came to our centre as eggs and we have just released them into Baker Creek to go to the river and then the ocean.
Fish release day with our preschool families was June 7 at Baker Creek. It was such a wonderful experience for the 3 – 5 year olds as they each had one fish to release into the open water.
