A band with Quesnel roots is set to bring its unique sound and style to Kersley this weekend.
Too Sense, a two-piece band that formed in Quesnel in the spring of 2016, will be performing an acoustic show in the Bunkhouse at Pen-Y-Bryn Farm Saturday, Aug. 26.
Spencer Holmes (lead vocals, mandolin) and Jason Wyza Wysynski (guitar) have an innovative style that blends genres into warm, moving acoustic arrangements. The bandmates, who have relocated to Prince George, will be sharing new music from an upcoming EP of original music, which they plan to release in late 2017. The album will feature creative compositions that embody Too Sense’s defining elements of rock, country, hip hop, blues and jazz influences.
The concert will start at 8 p.m., with doors opening at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door, and advance tickets are now available at Circle ‘S’ Western Wear or by contacting Lindsay at 1-250-510-5508. Pen-Y-Bryn Farm is located at 2911 Kersley Dale Landing Rd.
