Flames in the Quesnel grass

Neighbours, firefighters work together to contain fire on Quesnel Hixon Road

Yet another grass fire this spring got out of control, spreading outside the intended burn area started by a resident. On April 18, in the 4400-block of Quesnel Hixon Road, the 10 Mile Lake Fire Department with backup from Barlow Creek and Quesnel Fire Department took action, alongside helpful neighbours who, together, quickly contained the flames with no structure damages or injuries to people.
