Indoor Spring Classic Rodeo barrel racers ride in qualifier event

Ladies, junior and peewee riders had the opportunity to kick up some dirt

Barrel racers of all ages had the opportunity to hit the ground running Thursday, April 18 in advance of this weekend’s Indoor Spring Classic Rodeo in Williams Lake.

Competitors in the ladies, junior and peewee barrel racing had the opportunity to participate in a qualifying event.

Around 100 people were in the stands to cheer on the racers, with volunteers ready to pick up the barrels, clean the dirt in between races and enjoy the opportunity to see what the expect once the rodeo gets underway Friday night.

Friday, April 19, the rodeo begins at 6 p.m., Saturday, April 20 at 1 p.m. and Sunday, April 21 at 1 p.m.
