Quesnel firefighters extinguish Monday afternoon vehicle fire

There were no injuries, and no other vehicles were involved.

The Quesnel Volunteer Fire Department was quick to respond to a vehicle fire Monday afternoon (April 15) on Sales Road West.

Quesnel Assistant Fire Chief Ron Richart says the fire was not suspicious. The driver of the pickup truck was driving along when he noticed smoke, so he pulled over. The truck caught fire, and the driver was able to get away without injury. No other vehicles were involved.
