The pool at the Quesnel &District Arts and Recreation Centre is undergoing its annual shutdown. While the Quesnel Art Gallery, gym and recreation office are open for business on weekdays, the pool, which currently stands empty as crews work to clean and maintain it, is closed until Monday Sept. 11, when it will reopen at 5:30 a.m.
