Aaron Konecsni, of Kelowna’s hockey skills academy AK Hockey, coaches Quesnel players aged 13-15 as they practise their technique skating backwards. Konecsni is the head coach for the Cariboo Elite Power Skating Camp Aug. 21-25 at the Quesnel Arena.

Konecsni has coached Vancouver Canucks prospects, members of the Kelowna Rockets and many other semi-pro, junior and minor hockey teams during his career.

Almost 50 players signed up for the Power Skating camp, which followed last week’s camp coached by former NHL players Ed Patterson and Chris Murray.
