The College of New Caledonia (CNC) is asking the public to lend its voice to the college’s 2018-19 budget talks during a consultation session Jan. 31, 2018.

This year, rooms will be set up on each of CNC’s six campuses to host one unified public budget session through Digital Delivery Instruction (DDI) technology.

It’s being done to ensure all communities are represented in the same consultation session.

“Understanding the ideas the public has about the future of CNC is a crucial step we use in our decision making,” says CNC president Henry Reiser.

“DDI is allowing all the communities CNC serves to come together as one for this public budget consultation session.”

Registration for the consultation session opens at 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 8, 2018 and closes Jan. 22 at 4:30 p.m.

Presentations are limited to 10 minutes each. If people aren’t able to be there in person, written presentations will also be accepted.

To register, e-mail bog@cnc.bc.ca and include the presenter, organization, name(s), contact information, and the specific campus you want to make the presentation.

More information is available at www.cnc.bc.ca under the ‘Budget 2018/2019’ button.

The CNC public budget consultation will be held on Jan. 31 at the Quesnel campus, Room S202 from 5 to 8 p.m.
