No injuries after truck with horse trailer goes off road near Quesnel

The incident occurred on Highway 97 early Wednesday afternoon

There were no injuries to either human or animal after a vehicle hauling a horse trailer went off road south of Quesnel.

The motor vehicle incident occurred on Highway 97 near Dale Lake Road at around 1:40 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10.

“There were no injuries, and there was one animal in the trailer that was uninjured,” confirmed Quesnel RCMP media relations officer Sgt. Clay Kronebusch.

Traffic was not affected, and pylons were set up around the scene in the northbound two lanes. The incident was attended by Emcon Services and the Quesnel Volunteer Fire Department.

There is no word on the cause of the crash.
