It is with sadness that the family of Ann Wittebrood announce her peaceful passing at Dunrovin Park Lodge, Nov. 28, 2016 with her children by her side. Ann was born in Alkmaar, North Holland, Netherlands Aug. 7, 1928. She had made Quesnel her home since 1952. Ann was known for the Banana Belt Ranch and Rentals, and Dale Lake Propane.

She lived at Maeford Place January 2010 to December 2012

and Dunrovin Park Lodge since January 2013.

Ann is survived by her children Aleida (Dennis) Woollends, John (Gail) Wittebrood, Ann (Rob) McKay and Dan (Debbie) Wittebrood. She is also survived by grandchildren, Lori (Dave) Williams, Contessa (Darren) Traub, Debi Woollends (Jason Nixon), Stephen (Jennifer) Woollends, Rob (Darlene) Lentz, Alliston (Angus) Findlay and Mackenzie Wittebrood. Also suviving her are great grandchildren Jack Glazier, Logan & Madison Nixon, Sydney & Aubrey Williams, Caleb and Noah Woollends, and Averie, Kacyn and Blake Lentz.

Ann was laid to rest in the Quesnel Municipal Cemetary with

her husband Jan, who predeceased her on December 3, 2006.

The family would like to thank everyone for their support at

this difficult time, including our friends and extended family, Dr. Judy Dercksen, Maeford Place staff, Dunrovin Park Lodge staff, Dr John Fine and his medical team at Dunrovin, Chris, Amy and Ken of Clayton’s Funeral Directors, Eiffel Flowers and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion.
