Audrey passed away November 17, 2016, after a short illness.

She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Felix. They married December 25, 1939, in Prince Rupert where Felix was stationed in the army.

Audrey was born February 11, 1920 in Lloydminster, SK. She was the last of a family of nine children. They moved to Washington State in 1924 where she attended school. They moved to Moose Heights a few years after her father was killed in 1927. She lived there for a number of years, until moving to Prince Rupert to marry Felix. He was discharged from the army in 1945, then came back to Quesnel, where they lived until both their passings.

Audrey was predeceased by her parents, Charlie and Mamie Huntsley. Also her brothers and sisters; Ruby Mighton, Dave, Lee, Dena Hart, Edith Reed, Vesta Kitchener, Glen and Lloyd.

She is survived, by her children Ted, (Lynn) – his children Todd, David and Tara; Chuck – his children Gina, Garry and Tanya; Dennis – his children Toni, David and Robert; Lona – her children Sondra and Audra; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.

Also surviving are nieces Kay, Alaska, Joy and Cheri, in Washington State, and Sally of Vancouver Island; nephews Doug Mighton, Quesnel; Mickey Reed, Nevada; and Rene Bollman, Washington State; by her very good friends, Jean Johnson and Louise (wee) Gilbert.

There will not be a funeral service by request. Anyone wishing to honour Audrey’s memory in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the SPCA.
