Augustine Violet Ettinger

With deepest sorrow the family of Augustine Ettinger (Grunwald) announces her passing.

Augustine was born in Langley and moved to the Cariboo in 1948. Augy taught in the one room schoolhouse at Dragon Lake. She married Reginald Ettinger in 1949 and they raised three children on the family farm. Augy had a flare for fashion, a penchant for painting, was a voracious reader, and had a passion for gardening. Augustine will be remembered for many things, but especially for her collection of fashionable scarves, bright lipstick, clip-on earrings and “pick-me-up” snacks.

Augy was predeceased by her husband Reginald.

She is survived by her children Sherry Baker (Harry), Kerry Kotecki (Stanley), and Bryan Ettinger (Carolyn); her ten grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Augustine was the heart and soul of her family and will be forever precious to those whose

lives she touched.
