Thank You Quesnel

As I take this time to reflect I feel it is important for me to take a moment to say Thank You to Quesnel!

Ralph and I moved to Quesnel in 1987. As newcomers needing to meet new friends we were amazed at how welcoming the community was and how fast we had a strong circle of friends.

A beautiful little city where I was able to run businesses and most importantly it inspired me and allowed me opportunities to volunteer in many capacities. I have knocked on many doors and made many calls asking for money for a variety of projects and was always overwhelmed with the generosity of our community. Thank you for always continuing to take my calls.

Thank you to our staff who have ridden the waves of business with us for many years. Thank You for your loyalty and devotion to Carvers, Outlaw, Super Suds and both Vera and I. You have become special members of my family. Thank you to our customers who have supported us through the years. Your business is appreciated and your friendship is treasured.

Thank you to members of the many organizations and clubs I have had the pleasure to work and play with. Some of my best memories and proudest moments are of the accomplishments we have achieved, but the best part is the friendships that formed. So to the members of the Sunrise Rotary Club, Diamond Calcutta, the Quesnel Downtown Association, North Cariboo Liberal Party, Dragon Lake & Richbar Ladies Golf Clubs and Quesnel Ladies Curling Club thank you for the experiences, keep up the great work and BE HAPPY.
