Born on September 15, 1956 in Nanaimo, BC, Colleen will live on in the hearts of her beloved family – husband of 43 years Jim, daughters Natasha (Dwayne); Melissa (Jon); Angie (Warren) and grandchildren Brianna, Kurt, Nate, Brandon, Katelyn, Kyle and Carter; her mom Dorothy (DoDo); siblings, many nieces, nephews and friends. Colleen is predeceased by her dad Jiggs and sister Shirley. She leaves us with many wonderful memories of her love for crafting – making homemade cards and scrapbooks; sharing her creative knowledge by patiently teaching others; gardening, camping, travelling, curling and golfing. Colleen was also an avid volunteer in her community. We give heartfelt thanks to Dr. R. McGhee, Dr. B. Valev and all the medical staff that cared for Colleen, as well, we extend a HUGE thank you to the staff of Hospice House. We appreciate your sincere, compassionate care.
