The family of Dave are very sad to announce his passing at Chilliwack General Hospital with his wife and family at his side on Nov. 19, 2016 after suffering a very painful time with cancer. He is survived and missed dearly by his wife of 49 years Billy-Bell (Billie) 2 sons, Leon (Wendy) of Chilliwack and Arron (Jenna) of New Westminster. Dave also has 2 granddaughters Alicia of Quesnel and Emily of New Westminster, 1 grandson Colby of 100 Mile House and one great granddaughter Kaiya of Chilliwack. He also is survived by one brother Wally Braaten of Margo, Saskatchewan and sister Marlene Hertz (Walter) of Kenora, Ontario. Dave and Billie spent 40 years residing and working in Quesnel until moving to Chilliwack in 2014. There will be no funeral as per Dave’s request.
