Douglas is lovingly remembered by his wife of 70 years, Lucienne Farquhar, sons; Cameron, Ian, Stuart and their spouses, daughters; Heather, Jeanne, Yvonne, Piper, Bonnie, Donna, and their spouses, as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Douglas is predeceased by his parents, Robert and Jessie Farquhar, brothers; Bob, Don, Alex, Gordon, Malcolm and Albert, and sister Pat.
