Dr. Allan Dyer Doyle

Dr. Allan Dyer Doyle was born at Tisdale, Sask. on February 22, 1925 and died peacefully in Victoria Hospice on January 2, 2009, surrounded by his family.

He was predeceased by his parents Cora and Ferman Doyle of Eldersley, Sask., four sisters, two brothers and one nephew, also by his long time companion Isabelle.

Allan is survived by one brother Walter (Joy) Doyle of Victoria, B.C., 13 nieces and nephews and Isabelle’s daughters Sue Powell and Tracy McLarry, also by his special friend Marie.

Allan went to Clashmoor School in Sask. and upon graduation moved to Vancouver, B.C. where he worked at various occupations. In 1947 he entered the Canadian memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, from which he graduated in 1951. He practised for a short time in Tisdale, Sask. then in Barrhead, Alberta and finally in Quesnel, B.C. Upon retirement he moved to Victoria, B.C. where he resided in James Bay until his death.

There will be no funeral service by Allan’s request.

The family appreciates the special care Allan received by staff and volunteers at the Victoria Hospice, also by Darlene, Sue and Tracy.
