Garth Greskiw

In loving memory ~

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Garth Greskiw on February 28, 2024, at the age of 68. Garth grew up in Colwood BC, and went on to have a career in Forestry, where he worked in many communities throughout BC. In 2017, Garth settled in Bouchie Lake for his 'retirement years'.

Garth was an academic who was dedicated to lifelong learning, and obtained a PhD from the faculty of Forestry at UBC in 2006. Garth was also a talented musician who enjoyed bringing people of the community together through his music. Whether it be playing the piano at functions, strumming the guitar around the campfire or bringing a flute on a walk in the park, Garth always brought music with him.

Left to carry on his memory are his children, Seth and Alexis, as well as his sisters Andrea and Kim, along with their families.

A celebration of life will be held for Garth at

Bouchie Lake Community Hall on May 4th at 1pm.
