We regret to announce the passing of Ed on January 22, 2015. Ed passed away at home after a lengthy illness.
Ed was born at home on the farm near Silverwood, Manitoba. He moved to BC in 1956 and found work in the Wells area as a faller and later as a cat operator, until his retirement in the 90’s.
Ed was predeceased by his life partner, Louise Imrie, and his brother, Elton Donaldson. He is survived by his brother, Gilbert (Mary Ann) Donaldson and sister Marlene Hurley, as well as nieces and nephews, all in Manitoba.
He also leaves to mourn, his step children - Dolly (Earl) Kyle, Doug (Deb) Imrie, Daryl (Leona) Imrie and grandson, Todd Kyle.
Ed had significant health problems in latter years, but before that, he enjoyed camping, snowmobiling and especially fishing. He will also be missed by his friends at the Cariboo Hotel, and his little dog Scruffy.
There will be no funeral service, as specifically requested by Ed. And so... rest in peace Ed.
