It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved John Charles Cook on April 25 at the Quesnel Hospice House, he passed peacefully in his sleep after a courageous battle with cancer. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his wife Merry Cook, his two step children Kim Bartlette and Richard Lindstrom. His sister and brother in law Barbara and Jim Prowse, brother and sister in law to Robert and Mary Lou Sabatine Cook, Doug and Debbie Cook and David and Dawn Cook. Also fondly remembered by his nephew Christopher Prowse and several other nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Lloyd Cook and Mother Alice Hackett-Cook and his sister in law Sharon Cook. John was raised in London Ontario (Byron) and settled in Quesnel B.C. in 1977.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life was held on Wednesday May 03, 2017 at Clayton’s Funeral home. John’s family in Ontario will celebrate his life in the summer at a private family gathering.
