It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Lois Kohare on July 8, 2009 at Christine Morrison Hospice in Mission, B.C. after a courageous and dignified battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband Ernest Kohare, daughter Shelley (Bob) Billick, son Alex (Betty) Mathieson, Robert Mathieson, Bryan (Chrissy) Kohare, brother Fred (Georgina) Gordon, Gerald (Marion) Gordon, Jack, Bruce (Lillian) Gordon, sister Maurene (George) Greer, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She will be dearly missed by her faithful companion Moppy. Lois is predeceased by her parents Gladys and Rollie Hake of Quesnel. A memorial service was held July 17, 2009 at Northside Community Church in Mission, B.C.
Lois will be laid to rest as she had wished in Tranquility Gardens in Quesnel. B.C. on August 29, 2009 at 1:00 pm. If we could have one lifetime wish, your dream that would come true, we’d pray to God with all our heart, for yesterday and you.
