We are sad to announce the passing of Margaret Carol Nixon, born January 6 1953, died November 20, 2009.
Predeceased by her dad Leonard, in 1971 and her mom Anna in 1988. Her brother Alec Leonard, sisters Dianne and Mary-lyn.
Survived by her brothers Albert (Marjorie) Fuhrer, Lloyd (Iona) Fuhrer, Carl Fuhrer and sisters Gloria, Faith(Ron), Daphne (Richard)Barthel, Selmie (Dwaine) Barthel, Janet (Philip) Corriveau, Bonnie (John) Findley and of course her three sons John Nixon (Crystal Madland), Jason Nixon (Debi Woollends), Joseph Nixon, grandchildren Logan Nixon, Madison Nixon, Ryder Nixon and her many neices and nephews.
Margaret will be sadly missed by her family, friends, and especially her grandchildren. West Quesnel will never be the same.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking to make donation to the Canadian Cancer Society.
A service will be held at the Quesnel Municipal Cemetery at 1pm Friday, November 27th with Pastor Jody Schlottman from Lighthouse Pentecostal Church officating.
A tea will be held at her son’s residence at 505 Nason Street, Quesnel at 3 pm Friday, November 27. All who wish to attend are welcome to honour Margaret’s memory.
I wanted a perfect ending. Now I have learned, the hard way, that some poems don’t rhyme and some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next.
