All aboard cried the Lord and Michael took his place.

One last trip out on the road.

Peace upon his face-

It’s a one-way train

On a single track Bound for heaven above

He packed no bag but left a wish - Remember: Faith, Hope, and Love.

Michael passed away peacefully Feb. 13, 2013. Left on the platform of memories waving fond farewell are his daughters; Alice Mathews of Quesnel, Lannie Boutilier of Cranbrook and his son Andy of Salmon Arm.

Mike was a railroader from 1937 to 1985 and loved his work. He was a member of the Masonic fraternity for 60 years and proud of it.

Many many thanks to the staff at Maple House who are so kind, attentive and understanding. And to our friends and family here in Quesnel, Thank-you for your love and support.

In accordance with Mike’s wishes,

he has gone to UBC.

There will be no service.
