It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Nana, sister and friend, Leone Freeman. She passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord on March 20, 2015 at 3:15 am. She was welcomed into heaven by her husband, Fred, her sisters, Vivian, Doris and Sheila.
Her life is celebrated by her children; Carol and Art Lee, Sandra and Bob Mitchell, Scott Freeman, Cindy Freeman, Greg and Lori Freeman and Doug and Sandra Freeman, 14 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 3 great, great grandchildren, 2 sisters (Donna Gilbert and Shirley Hopkins), and many friends.
We wish to thank her loving friends Juanita, Betty and Eileen for being such a gift in Leone’s life. We also wish to thank Joanne Freeman who always cared for Leone. A special thanks for the great love and care she received from Dr. Erlank, the staff at the hospital and Maeford Place.
Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 1:15 pm at Northstar Baptist. The internment will take place at 11:00 am at Quesnel Municipal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to G.R. Baker Hospital or Northstar Baptist Church.
