Philip Gregory Elkey
Phil Elkey passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017, shortly after being diagnosed with cancer.
Phil was born in Kelowna BC. He married Miriam, his wife of 40 years on November 20, 1976, in Edmonton AB.
Phil graduated from Malaspina College in Nanaimo BC with an Associate Degree in Arts and Science in 1981.
He spent the later part of hi life working as a bookkeeper, alongside of his wife.
He had many interests including fishing, golfing, geocaching, oil painting and playing guitar.
One of the greatest highlights of his life was purchasing his Harley Davidson motorcycle in 2008.
Phil is predeceased by his parents Stephen and Edna Elkey and his granddaughter Devon Grace.
He is survived by his wife Miriam, his son's Trevor (Shannon), Justin (Sarah Keller), his daughter Sherri (Ian Bidder), and his grandchildren (Greg, Lena, Ethan, Tayla, and Colby.)
A service was held at Clayton's Funeral Chapel in Quesnel on Wednesday, October 18, 2017.
