Ronald Philip Patchett passed away peacefully February 18, 2009 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

He will be forever missed by his devoted wife of 39 years, Anna; beloved children Mark (Lisa) and Tina (Graham); “lights of his life” grandchildren Quinton and Mya and many other relatives and friends he touched throughout his life.

Born in Quesnel, BC September 29, 1943 to parents Cy and Marian Patchett; brothers Donald and Terry.

After graduating high school in Quesnel, he attended UBC and graduated in 1965 in Physical Education and Science. He then moved to Revelstoke where he met and married Anna in 1970. He spent his entire career teaching elementary and high school until he retired in 2000.

Ron was a natural athlete and a stand out teacher and coach. He loved the outdoors and was an avid golfer, a caring husband and wonderful father. Ron was never without a smile on his face. His pleasant and easy-going nature remained with him until the end.

A memorial service was held in Revelstoke.
