ROY ZERKE of Hixon, B.C. passed away peacefully at Prince George Hospice House on Tuesday October 20, 2015 at the age of 73, after a long courageous battle with cancer.

Roy was born on November 29, 1941 in Loon Lake Saskatchewan.

He lived in Quesnel for 37 years before moving to Hixon in 2004 to his farm that he loved so dearly.

He will be so deeply missed by his loving wife Marie, who will forever be the love of his life. He has left behind many family members and friends who Roy continually entertained with his sense of humor and endless stories.

Roy was predeceased by his Mother Mable, Father Alfred, sister Verna and brother Raymond Zerke.

Nov. 6, 2015 at 4:00 at the Seniors hall in Prince George, located on the corner of 4th and Brunswick.

The Celebration of Life will close with Roy’s favorite local bands Country Calibre and Caribou Thunder.
