Tina Louise Rainey was born in Quesnel, B.C. on September 23, 1978. She attended Barlow Creek school, kindergarten through grade 7, then graduated from Q.S.S. in 1997, continuing on with one year of college and two years of university. She had planned to be a teacher but realized her interest lay in the medical field. She was very charming, outgoing and adventurous with a zest to see and experience as much as a person can in a lifetime, which led her to travel to Thailand, Australia and Las Vegas with plans and dreams of many more trips. A very giving, thoughtful and sweet little lady who brightened anyone’s day with her smile.

Tina’s sudden passing on December 18, 2009 is hard to comprehend or accept and very puzzling, but in time the acceptance will come I suppose, and along with it some kind of understanding how a person with such a passion for life and lived life to the fullest could be gone. I pray all of us who loved her get answers. Tina was the sunshine in all our lives who loved her and in our hearts we know..

“Her Journey’s just begun”

Don’t think of her as gone away-

her journey’s just begun,

life holds so many facets-

this earth is only one.

Just think of her as resting

from the sorrows and the tears

in a place of warmth and comfort

where there are no days and years.

Think how she must be wishing

that we could know today

how nothing but our sadness

can really pass away.

And think of her as living

in the hearts of those she touched...

for nothing loved is ever lost-

and she was loved so much.

Tina is survived by her mother Debbie and brother Kurt, she is predeceased by her father Wayne and brother Shane.
