Verna Harriet Wawryk passed away on Monday, May 4, 2009 at the Dunrovin Park Lodge at the age of 92, resident of the Quesnel area for 60 years.
Verna is survived by her loving family, daughters Leanna (Stuart); Janice (Mike); Alvina (Tim) and son Roy (Heather). Her first grandson Kenneth (Lori) blessed her with 2 great grandsons, Leon and Zachary. Colin, Cody, Mark, Andy and Dustin - grandsons and Beatrice, Anne, Anna Lee, Shauna and Kerri - granddaughters were her pride and joy.
It is with extreme gratitude that we achnowledge the dedication and compassion of Dr. Fine and the staff of Dunrovin Park Lodge. A memorial tea is planned for May 23rd, 2009 at the Golden Centre, 1-3 pm. In lieu of flowers donations to the Pallative Care Society would be greatly appreciated.
