After multiple nights staying in multiple 5-star Fairmont Chateau hotels on the Rocky Mountaineer adventure, our favorite and most-talked-about night was our stay in Quesnel. A hearty welcome from the townsfolk (loved the ‘55 Chevy), a great stay at the Tower Inn, and topped off by a bus tour of the town hosted by driver Bruce. We encountered so many genuine people who were very happy to see us.
It was a brief but very enjoyable visit.
