Jan. 7 of this year, Perry’s Picture Place, a photography and custom picture framing business in Quesnel since 1981, closed it’s doors.
Custom framing customers need not despair however as that business has been sold to our long time employee, Carrie Lawrence, who will soon be operating out of 335D Vaughn St.
As for photography, I will continue to operate as a free lance photographer doing commercial work and passports, etc. I’d just like to take this opportunity to thank all our wonderful customers for their support over the years. It has been a fantastic journey. Along the way we received so much help from so many people, including the Cariboo Observer who did more than one story on our business over the years.
No business is an island unto itself and without the help of all our customers and professional organizations such as the Quesnel Downtown Association to mention just one, we couldn’t have had the long business tenure we did.
To all our customers and business associates then, a big thank you – we will miss you all.
