The Quesnel Curling Club Sponsor League continued its weekly Wednesday night games Oct. 18 and 25.

On Oct. 18, Quesnel Lawncare played Service Electric, beating them 8-4. In Century 21 versus Karin’s Deli, Century 21 won 7-1, saying: “We sliced and diced the deli girls and made Swiss cheese out of them.”

And in Child Development Centre versus Billy Barker Casino Hotel, CDC won 7-1 even though the team was playing with three substitute players.

In the Oct. 25 games, Century 21 continued its winning streak, beating Quesnel Lawncare 8-2.

Service Electric shocked Team CDC with its 9-5 win. Service Electric was up four in the fifth end, and Team CDC never recovered, despite playing with its full team for the first time this season.

In Sky-Hi Scaffolding versus Karin’s Deli, it came down to the last shot.

Sky-Hi managed to pull off the game, winning 6-5.
