Quesnel motocross racer's were seen as some of the dirtiest riders while they were out once again this past weekend racing in their second last race of the season in Prince George.
From plus 30 degrees a week prior in Williams Lake to only plus four degrees along with the cold wind and pouring down rain, riders pulled out their winter coats to compete in the muddiest race of the season.
By the end of Sundays moto's you could no longer determine who was who on the track as the mud covered the racer's from head to toe.
Goggles were thrown off as the mud covered lenses made it impossible for the racer's to see.
For many it was a nightmare as they slid and tried their best to make their way through the mud and up the hills but for Quesnel rider Spencer O'Flynn it was a trophy ride.
Spencer rode in the 85cc class 7 - 11 year olds taking first place both Saturday and Sunday while others gave up and left the track.
The Watson family also didn't get discouraged and cleaned up well with dad Brian taking a second in Plus 40 on Saturday and a first on Sunday in the Vet Jr's.
Son Haiden and Austin also rode excellent through the muddy terrain with Haiden taking a fourth on Saturday in Jr MX 2 and other son Austin riding in the 12 - 16 year olds in the 85cc class also taking a first and second place trophy home.
Colton Shepherd, Jackson Nickolet and Brad Perron racing 250 four strokes in School Boy and Jr. MX classes also rode hard with Nickolet and Shepherd both taking home second and third place trophies.
Scott Davis, racing in the Vet Jr and Plus 40 classes, also slid his way around the track, taking home a second place trophy on Sunday in the Vet Masters.
Racers head out Friday for their final BCMA race in Ashcroft, Sept. 28 and 29 to race for their final points in the series.
