Eight midget teams played in house hockey tournament last weekend

Quesnel’s teams played good hockey but top spots went to out-of-towners

Midget house hockey Team Wayfair played 100 Mile House on Saturday during the Quesnel and District Minor Hockey Association (QDMHA) house tournament. Eight midget division teams played, with four coming to play from out of town, including Williams Lake, 100 Mile House, Mackenzie and Fort Nelson. Mackenzie took the top spot, winning against Fort Nelson 6-3. Williams Lake came third in the tournament, with fourth place going to Quesnel team Wayfair, fifth to Quesnel’s West Fraser team, sixth to Quesnel’s Cariboo Ford team, seventh to 100 Mile House and 8th to Quesnel’s AAA Photography.
