One step closer to the Lumber Cup

Fraser Rivers first place dream is alive with a pounding of Bear as BCS rolls back into the win column with a gutsy 6-4 victory over Serenity.

Eight skaters were enough for the Chevy Crew as the Bear eight couldn’t keep up in the 10-6 victory.

All but one of the Fraser River skaters registered points with Jason Junior Johnson the leader with a pair of goals and four huge assists.

Also adding offensive punch when their team need it the most was Eric Lindros Stanick who moved up from his D position to score two which included the winner as Brian Propp Domeris added a pair from his office adjacent to the right post.

Supplying the TSN turning point was Kris Pronger Hayman who after a slight embellishment scored on the ensuing power play and then added another two shortly afterwards for the natural, albeit greasy hat trick. Making a game of it for most of the morning was Bears Jim Benning Scott with two goals and an assist as Doug Wickenheiser Mack notched a pair and chipped in with one assist.

Skating as many miles as the rest of the other four forwards combined was Kieron Youngblood Langon who scored twice and assisted on a pair as he barely worked up a sweat in the losing cause. The other contest reinforced that BCS will be the team to beat in the play-offs as despite missing their top two forwards they still managed to pull out a 6-4 victory over Serenity.

Continuing to slurp from the fountain of youth, that has seen him score more goals so far this year than the last two seasons combined, was Colin all cars Keis who scored the hat trick to give him 21 in 21 games. A trio of grinders put the game out of reach as Hot Rod Albers and Bruce Is Loose Broughton scored singletons to go with an assist each with Rocking Rob Lentz adding a pair of helpers.

Making a welcome return to the Serenity line-up was Chad The Comet Swanson who scored the natural hat-trick as Curious George Ryan notched his third goal in February after a slow start to the season.

Adding a pair of assists was Chris Crown Royle who continues to perform despite a nagging lower body injury that limits his performance off the ice.
