The Quesnel Kangaroos faced the Terrace River Kings in an away playoff game on Feb. 3, losing 6-2 to Terrace. The result took the Roos out of the 2017/18 playoffs.
The game was the Roos’ second loss in the playoffs against Terrace, after playing the River Kings on home turf on Jan. 27, losing 4-2.
The Kangaroos started off the season strong, but weren’t able to sustain the momentum after a slew of injuries to the players.
The Central Interior Hockey League playoffs continue this weekend, with Terrace playing the Williams Lake Stampeders on Feb. 10.
