Premium pet store, Bosley’s will be hosting a grand opening March 24 and 25.
The store will have face painting, the street team, as well as the infamous mascot “Bosley the Dog” on hand to greet customers.
“We’re also going to have a competition for pets,” store manager Dave Craigmyle said.
“There is going to be several fun contests, some including one for best-dressed, a look-alike for owners and animals and a best trick contest.”
In addition to the competitions, Bosley’s will be handing out coupons, giving customers a ten dollar discount for purchases over 40 dollars.
“The coupon is only good for our grand opening weekend March 24 and 25, so we’ll be handing them out before and during the grand opening event,” Craigmyle said.
Bosley’s, whose doors opened Feb. 13, is a specialty pet store, offering a great selection of premium pet nutrition and supplies like treats, toys, pet fashion, litter and furniture.
“We carry a lot of different brands and products that some Quesnel people haven’t seen before.” Craigmyle said.
The store also has a unique look to it, making it very appealing and welcoming.
“It has a bit of that modern, big city look. You can see right when you walk in the door it’s bright, spacious, clean and pets are always welcome,” Craigmyle explained.
Craigmyle singled out one part of the business Bosley’s particularly focuses on.
“Customer service, it’s our number one. We strive for excellent customer service and Bosley’s go out of their way to ensure all of our customers are both happy and satisfied,” he said.
Employees at Bosley’s are also very knowledgeable and go through extensive training.
“Employees are required to complete online training and receive a certificate after they’ve completed the course, which covers a variety of topics including canine and feline pet nutrition,” Craigmyle said.
“They also receive training from myself and my district manager. There’s a lot of hands-on training in addition to the training that’s established online.”
