Cariboo Wolf Pack 4-H Club spent this past Saturday morning doing a riverside clean-up in town around the Fraser River walking trail.

We searched for every piece of garbage in the area and cleaned it up.

This project is part of a 4-H Canada initiative aimed to focus on protecting the environment and teaching our members the importance of nature.

This is also an important part of helping our community as outlined in our pledge “I Pledge My Hands to Larger Service.” We remember that the main goal of the 4-H Program is to develop responsible, caring citizens and we hope that through this work, that is precisely what we are doing!

Jacinta Meir is a 4-H B.C. Ambassador.
