A first at the Chamber

Here at the Quesnel and District Chamber of Commerce we believe that team building is an essential part of a successful workplace. It is proven that bonds created outside the job site foster a sense of community in a workplace.

Here at the Quesnel and District Chamber of Commerce we believe that team building is an essential part of a successful workplace.

It is proven that bonds created outside the job site foster a sense of community in a workplace.

This encourages employees to think positively about their job as well as create a network that allows them to answer difficult situations both quicker and more creatively.

We pride ourselves on giving our members opportunities to improve these bonds in a positive environment.

This is why the Quesnel and District Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce their first annual Lawn Bowling Tournament.

The games will be held September 14, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the West Fraser Timber Park.

Open to all members of the chamber, the tournament will be a great way to assemble the valuable bond of teamwork.

The teams should consist of 2-3 people and the cost is $5 per person.

Remember when you were young and making friends was an easy as sharing a crayon.

Back when you weren’t afraid to get a little silly.

The chamber urges all teams to go back to that time and to come up with creative costumes and cheers to get into a friendly competitive spirit for the event.

Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes, best performance and worst performance.

We encourage everyone to come out and enjoy the first annual Quesnel and District Chamber of Commerce Lawn Bowling Tournament.

We would like to thank WalMart for sponsoring this event.

If a night of fun and friendship sounds interesting to you, your team can be signed up by calling the Visitors Centre at 250-992-8716.

When all is said and done, it’s not the shots that won the championship that you remember, but the friendships you made along the way.
