Quesnel RCMP hosted its 7th Annual Kids Camp, Aug. 18. Fifty-two children from throughout the community attended the Mini Mountie training which included sessions on handcuffing, radar, marching, and “target practice.” Highlights included the Police Dog Presentation, the tug of war and final graduation. The one day event is aimed at building positive relations with local youth and providing the kids an opportunity to be mini Mounties for a day.
