Barlow Creek 4-H kicks off season of projects

The club is one of several in the Quesnel area

Submitted to the Observer by Isabelle Plante

The Barlow Creek 4-H Club was excited to have their first club meeting of the year on Jan. 24.

We welcomed our new leaders Stacey Pfannmueller and Jen Thomson.

Even though this year we have a small club, we will be able to concentrate on our five main projects such as beef, photography, swine, sheep and foods. Many thanks to our news sponsor, the Great Indoors HVAC Company. Each month for the animals and other projects we will be highlighting safety tips.

The club’s new executive includes president Kadin Thomson, vice president Amilia Murray, secretary Shayla Plante, treasurer Breanna Palay, safety officer Rafe Murray and reporter Isabelle Plante.
