Busy June for Barlow Creek 4-H Club

Achievement weekend will be held next month at Alex Fraser Park

In June the Barlow Creek 4-H Club had a lot of fun at our monthly meeting. We played a variety of games such as the cowboy boot toss, wheelbarrow race, and a roping activity. We even practiced using the fire hoses with the Bouchie Lake Fire Department.

Our main event last month was our district judging rally. Congrats to all the members from the different clubs. Everyone did great! Our club also went and sold 50/50 tickets at Walmart and CO-OP. Tickets will be drawn at achievement weekend on Sunday, August 7.

We had two club members participate at the Cariboo Classic Steer and Heifer Show in Williams Lake. It was a great experience for the girls. And lastly, save the date….our achievement weekend is on August 5-7 at Alex Fraser Park.

There will also be a district bottle drive at the Sani-Dump on Thursday, July 7.
