CCS looking for a few good people

Quesnel unit needs people to volunteer for several CCS projects and programs

The Quesnel Unit of the Canadian Cancer Society is in need of volunteers to help continue to run their programs and services.  Here is a brief list of the services provided that need more hands.

Office volunteers and tasks include day to day running of the office, interacting with clients, providing information, helping with community projects as needed.  Full training is provided. Christmas Cakes and Cookies – campaign runs mid-November to mid-December and involves coordinating sales.

Rent-a-Santa. Training and costumes are provided.  Mid-November to Dec. 24, 1 – 3 hours per week, depending on bookings. Or if you are a more behind the scenes person, we need help coordinating the bookings.Daffodils – helping with pre-sales of flowers, distributing pins to businesses.  Mid-March to end of April, 1– 2 hours per week.

Relay For Life – several committees with a variety of roles to be filled.

Time commitment varies depending on the role.
