The Central Interior Regional Arts Council and the South Cariboo Arts and Culture Society are sponsoring Artsfest 2011 at the Parkside Art Gallery in 100 Mile House. This is the only juried art show in the Central Interior region. Entry deadline is April 1. Photos, or slides are submitted to Arts Fest 2011.
All selected art works well be exhibited at Parkside Art Gallery in 100 Mile House during Arts Fest 2011. Ten works of art will be seclected by jurors to form the touring Arts Fest Exhibition.
Emerging artists who may have participated in gallery group shows or exploratory exhibitions are eligible to enter.
The show will open on April 15 and at that time there will be an arts practice symposium, networking with other artists and an art professional’s written comment regarding artists’ submitted piece. Chris Harris and Jude Copeland will be the jurors. The jurors will select the traveling show.
Your piece of art can be dropped off at the Quesnel Art Gallery between April 2 – 6 between 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please ensure that your art work is in a sturdy crate.
