Dignitaries go to Kersley to honour students

JOB WELL DONE

Kersley Elementary School students were recognized for the outstanding work they do honouring Canadian veterans. The students organized funding for plaques to be mounted on the local Cenotaph in recognition of veterans who served in the Persian Gulf, Afghanistan and those who serviced by keeping the peace.Cariboo North MLA Coralee Oakes, middle row right gave students certificates from both the provincial and federal governments. School District #28 representatives Dave Chapman, back row left, Tony Goulet and Julie-Anne Runge were there for the presentation , as were Terry and Paul Nichols, back row right, of the Communities For Veterans Foundation.
