District Achievement a summer highlight for Barlow Creek 4-H

Club thanks their supporters

By Isabelle Plante-Club Reporter

Submitted to the Quesnel Observer

It was a busy July and August for our Barlow Creek 4-H Club.

We sold tickets for our 50/50 raffle and did some fun seed planting at the 4-H tent for Billy Barker Days. We also held many clinics, such as beef and swine, to help us prepare for our Achievement Day.

Our highlight was our District Achievement weekend in August. This was a chance for all of the clubs to come and show the projects that they have been working on for the past months. It was also a chance to show others in the community what the 4-H clubs are all about.

We had a great crowd and had a good turn up for our sale. Thank you to all the buyers who came out and purchased animals, food and photographs at the auction.

We would like to thank everyone who supported our club this year.
