Events around Quesnel have been cancelled this weekend as new health regulations come into effect in Northern B.C.

A planned event to bring awareness and film a public service announcement on Intimate Partner Violence set for Oct. 16 has been cancelled. The video will still be made, and the bridge will still light up in purple on Oct. 16 to commemorate the date, but no event will be taking place.

A U15 Hockey Tournament will still be running in Quesnel this weekend, with any attendees needing to show proof of vaccination.
