Live performances have returned to Quesnel.
The Quesnel Live Arts presented Alex Cuba on Sept. 23 and 24, and will be bringing in Chase Padgett’s 6 Guitars show on Thursday, Oct. 14, and Friday Oct. 15.
“We have been suffering though the pandemic along with artists, agents and theatre managers,” a news release from Quesnel Live Arts reads. “We did try to present concerts to limited audiences last season but, of course, that did not happen.”

The shows are hosted at the Occidental, with limited seating. Those in attendance must show their vaccine card to entrance.
Padgett will be appearing on the Fox talent show Alter Ego, beginning on Oct. 6.
“It’s not every day a community gets to see someone who has just been on a major network talent show,” the press release reads.
Tickets are available on the Quesnel Live Arts’ website qla.tickit.ca, with a video of Padgett’s work on the group’s Facebook page.
