The BC Hydro Power Pioneers are looking to reward a graduating Quesnel student who has helped the community.
They’re going to be giving $500 to someone who has excelled in community service.
“We’re looking for students who have made outstanding contributions in their local community for a considerable amount of time or have initiated, organized or contributed significantly to a one-time project,” the application reads.
Applicants must fill out an online form, submit a 500 word essay sharing their accomplishments and provide a reference letter from community organizations they have worked with and a teacher or other person from their school.
The award is given out to BC residents who will graduate in 2021, and must be submitted before Wednesday, March 31.
